Marta graduated with the Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, alongside Professor Szymon Bywalec.
She also graduated in medicine from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice and she is currently completing her residency in radiology and diagnostic imaging in Ruda Śląska.
She is the artistic director of the Medical University of Silesia Choir.
From 2019 to 2022, she was the conductor of the Polish Youth Symphony Orchestra in Bytom.
She has received numerous accolades. Marta won third prize at the Malta International Conducting Competition in 2021 and she was awarded second prize at the 16th Danube International Conducting Masterclasses and Competitions in Budapest in 2020.
Under her leadership, the Medical University of Silesia Choir has achieved notable success, winning multiple awards in choral competitions. These include a gold medal at the International Choral Competition in Olomouc, Czech Republic, “Mundi Cantant” (2023), as well as a special award for outstanding conducting and repertoire selection for Marta Zielińska, the main prize and a gold diploma in the adult choirs category at the 7th Baltic Choir Competition "Pomerania Cantat" Koszalin-Słupsk 2024. Other achievements include 1st place at the 22nd Małopolska Choral Songs Review of Christmas Carols and Pastoral Songs in Miechów (2024), 1st place with the Grand Prix award at the 7th National Festival of Christmas Carols and Pastoral Songs in Karczmiska (2024), a Silver Diploma at the 16th Kazimierz Fober International Choir Festival “Gaude Cantem” (2022), and 2nd place at the 5th Jubilee National Festival of Christmas Carols and Pastoral Songs in Łazy (2020).
Zielińska mastered her conducting skills through several masterclasses, including NOSPR in Katowice - Masterclass with Marin Alsop (2021), a Masterclass with Bucharest Symphony Orchestra (2021), the International Conducting Masterclass with Moravian Philharmonic (2019), the Summer Academy of Music in Krakow – conducting course (2019), Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice – conducting workshop (2016, 2017, 2019), and Silesian Chamber Orchestra - conducting workshop (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), International Conducting Institute - Czech Conducting Workshop and Concert (2018). She also participated in the Royal Northern College of Music Conducting Masterclass (2018), Sherborne Summer School of Music - The George Hurst Conductors’ Course (2017).
